I agree with some of RMI's

I agree with some of RMI's analysis. But they have a history of being a bit overoptimistic on their energy efficiency claims. Even so, lavish investment in energy efficiency (which is very often cheaper than $70/barrel oil) looks like our best or only hope to stretch renewables to provide a tolerable standard of living.
